Re: ASI120MC driver failed (code 10)

Hi Gunter, As you know, 120MC is our first generation product. At that time, USB2.0 is the most widely used. But now, USB3.0 is used widely. Although in theory it should be compatible, in fact it is still problematic under some strict conditions. So in this case, it is hard to say what happened. For...

Re: ASI120MC driver failed (code 10)

Hi, Sorry for the problem. First, I think you can try to test it on another computer, if it works well, then try the step 3 of this URL: https://windowsinstructed.com/solve-code-10-errors-in-device-manager/ Or you also could try this method 4 of this URL: https://www.repairwin.com/fix-usb-device-can...

Re: Help Solving "error while loading shared libraries: libASICamera2.so"

Hi Jacob, OK. Our SDK is available in the form of a standard C++ library. Like libc.so or libstdc++. Like the header file that you include in your code. There are 2 kinds: " #include <***> " and " #include "***" " The first one means that the header file should be searched in the system header file ...

Re: Help Solving "error while loading shared libraries: libASICamera2.so"

Hi Jacob,
Have you had any experience in code development? If you do not, I will only tell you how to fix it. If you do, I will tell you why it happens, and you can solve it in your ways.
Thanks

Re: ASI 174 Unexpected EXP_FAILED

Hi Mathieu, I noticed that the camera was turned on for each shot. is there any special reason? And for the error, it is because the data of 2 frames is crossed, and the data of the next frame covers some data of the previous frame. This may be caused by the camera's internal chip is not cleaned com...

Re: Unique Camera ID for ASI174

Hi CarpeBoth, Sorry for the problem. This function is supported by our new cameras, like pro. And the un-cooled USB3.0 cameras which is producted in this year also support. For the earlier cameras, because there is no such a need at that time, so it is not supported. And for the current, it is impos...

Re: Unique Camera ID for ASI174

Hi Carpeboth,
Now we offer a function named: ASIGetSerialNumber
you can use it to identify the different camera. Beside that, there also is a self-define ID, you can use ASISetID and ASIGetID to identify it.
Thanks
Chad
